Scan Settings

This page will allow you to control parts of the Vista Agent scan process. These settings are stored as a Cookie on your computer.

Notes

A special device driver, TVicHW32, is used by the plugin so that it can communicate directly with hardware devices. It is included with the Vista Agent download, but for the plugin to install this driver, it needs administrator privileges on Windows NT4/2000/XP/Vista. A web browser, when run from the Adminstrator account on Windows Vista does not have administrator privileges.

Some I/O chipsets are difficult to detect, and may cause your computer to stop responding.
